Sitecore Symposium 2014: Time to Keystone!
With just 8 hours of flights between myself and Vegas, the excitement was starting to build. Our team was coming out in full force this year to watch some great sessions, meet awesome people, and show off Keystone at our booth!
After years of building up an accelerator internally to deliver our own solutions to clients more quickly, we’ve productized our framework into the new Keystone platform. Now, it’s time to share with the world!
As I did with the ALM Conference I attended a few years back, I’ll try to get some recaps out of highlights from the day for those of you unable to be at Symposium.
However, if you happen to be at Symposium, I’d love to meet you at our booth! We’ll be right next to Coveo in the Partner Pavillion. I may be in a session when you come by, but if you ask one of my kind colleagues they can ping me and I’ll be right by to say hello. It’s not often I get the chance to meet any of our community, so there’s no way I’ll pass up the chance to talk shop this week!
Or, just hit me up on twitter (@AgileStCyr) and track me down! Looking forward to all the fun times this week!
Day 1: Fun at the Pavillion
Today was jam-packed. Starting at 3:30am eastern, the flights began and by noon pacific I was at the Aria with my colleagues and ready to hit the pavillion. After a quick gathering, we split up for lunch and then my colleague Nick Allen and I began to work together near the Pavillion. Loads of people were streaming by and I got to speak to a couple of great clients of ours who happened to pop by while the pavillion was open.
The Keystone booth was crazy busy all day, which was great! We got to meet a lot of nice folks and chat about Sitecore projects and accelerating development. There were also drinks going around, which lent a certain party atmosphere to the proceedings.
Tomorrow the sessions start, and I’m excited for the opening Keynote of my first Sitecore Symposium!
